The Itsohkahaya
A race of Wolf-Like Humanoids from the World of Relm; A worldbuilding project in development as a foundation for my VRChat products.

- Distinct male and female avatar variants.
- 4 custom props: A torch that can be placed in the world as a static light source, a telescope with zoom control and a custom eyepiece shader, a boomerang, and a sword with gesture-controlled grip orientation.
- 3 unique outfits for each avatar variant.
- 24 Customization masks to use for baking custom color textures.
- Bisected expression layout, which allows for the control of the upper and lower face using the left and right hands respectively, letting you combine expressions to make new ones. There are also passive expression settings to further change how your character appears.
- The ability to switch between digitigrade and plantigrade locomotion in game.
- A wide variety of shapekeys and bones to customize face shape.
- 88k-97k Triangles, 1 Light, 7 Skinned Mesh Renderers, 13 Materials, 60mb Texture Memory with all features. The PC version comes as Very Poor, but it can be configured to have a Good rating by using only the base character and a single outfit.
- A Quest version of the avatar that comes just under the maximum performance specifications for the android platform.
Requirements
- VRChat Avatar SDK Version 3.7.0 or newer on the latest supported version of Unity.
- Blender Version 3.3 or newer | Required for Unity to convert the .blend files to use for the avatar, and to save edits to .blend files.
Keep in mind that Blender was used to produce all of the original textures for the Avatar, and as such, there are no included files for proprietary texturing software, such as Photoshop, or Substance Painter.
The Avatar was assembled in Unity from the .blend project shipped with the base file, and so a level of caution is implied when handling the .blend project during editing; Make sure to duplicate anything you want to edit and ensure you don't modify the armature.
End User Information on the Handling of Images from textures.com
One or more textures on this 3D model have been created with photographs from Textures.com. These photographs may not be redistributed by default; please visit www.textures.com for more information.
Images obtained from textures.com with the use of free credits to build supplementary textures for the materials of this product are included in compliance with Article 6 and 7 of the textures.com Terms of Use. Distribution of such images is imperative for end user functionality in building personalized assets for their own avatars and is not to be redistributed beyond the end user, used by anyone but the end user, or made to benefit the end user.
Note that the textures.com images may not be used by themselves on game models. They may only be used in combination with data nodes and other images to bake into separate textures to be used on a game model. ie; the textures.com images must be transformed before implementation to prevent redistribution through the asset bundle of the avatar.
Terms of Use
1: Purchasing this product entitles the end user a use only license to utilize the content included for personal usage cases, such as:
- a: Implementing the models included in this product as a free mod for a video game, as well as being commissioned to implement the models as a free mod for a video game.
- b: Creating non-commercial renders of the models included in this product. Animators may be compensated for their effort in the production of animations created in conjunction with this product, but renders featuring this product may not be used in any commercial capacity, nor can the process of rendering be monetized when featuring this product's models.
- c: Implementing the content as/on an Avatar for use in titles such as VRChat, NeosVR, ChilloutVR, or any such title that necessitates the use of an avatar to partake in the functions of the title.
- d: Using the animation files, audio files, controller layers, meshes, materials, and prefabs on other such avatars owned by the end user, as well as being commissioned to situate these assets on other avatars for third parties that have purchased this product.
- e: Using the content included in this product in a VRChat world. (Credit is appreciated, but not required)
- f: Modifying this product's contents in an expressive manner to better conform to the end user's personal exploits.
- g: Producing original additive content based around this product which may be provided by itself freely or sold by itself commercially. Additionally, the avatar's armature may be redistributed in accompaniment with an original outfit to simplify implementation on existing avatars.
- h: Selling or providing freely the textures/masks you bake or produce using any of the .blend files included in this product, provided they are not produced with Textures.com images.
- i: Commissioning or enlisting the help of a third party to assist in the modification and implementation of this product for the end user, provided that the third party has purchased this product under their own volition, thereby having agreed to these terms.
Usage cases that have not been explicitly outlined are not allowed without my permission.
2: It is prohibited to redistribute the assets contained within this product for purposes including, but not limited to:
- a: Reselling either the entirety, or individual parts of this product, or providing it to others freely.
- b: Retailing these assets in an arrangement with separate assets in an attempt to constitute them as a separate product.
- c: Transforming any of the assets into a derivative work with the intention of retailing such work as a distinct product from the original.
3: It is furthermore prohibited to:
- a: Utilize either the entirety, or parts of this product as assets for a commercial production, such as a movie or video game. Monetized or sponsored videos and streams that feature this product indirectly are not prohibited.
- b: Purchase this product for or on behalf of a third party who has not agreed to these terms.
- c: Sell or redistribute any images that were produced with the use of Textures.com images.
4: By purchasing this product, you agree to the following:
- a: I am in no way liable for the mishandling, damaging, or unintentional destruction of files or data received from this product, and I have made sufficiently clear that the burden for appropriate manipulation of its assets is of a considerable degree.
- b: I am not responsible for this product's failure to conform to the end user's personal exploits, nor do I make any guarantee of its operability in the contexts it is marketed for, notably due to the fact that this product's compatibility with its intended medium depends greatly on things I cannot control.
- c: The license to use this product does not provide the end user with any intellectual property rights or copyrights associated with this product, nor does it grant ownership over this product. All rights to the ownership, intellectual property rights and copyrights of this product, the fiction it represents, and the species it illustrates are reserved to me.
- e: This license does not burden me with the obligation to educate the end user in how to modify and implement this product in their personal exploits.
- f: I am not liable for any economic injury, be it directly, indirectly, or consequentially due to the end user's inability to use this product.
User editions (Edits) of any sort are permitted to be produced and sold in accompaniment with proper attribution, and credit to the original creator of the base. Edits may not be sold under the premise that they are original avatars as mentioned in section c of Article 2, and the use of Edits must conform to the usage cases outlined in Article 1 of the Terms of Use.
End users have no authority to sublicense the privileges or responsibilities granted to them by the purchase of this product.
This license stands to be terminated should the end user fail to comply with any of the terms outlined above.
These terms do not account for the likeness or fiction of the species illustrated by the avatar, which is my own copyright material and intellectual property. Their appearance has been disambiguated from wolves to the extent that their likeness should not conflict with existing or future wolf avatars; Any resemblance to such avatars/fictional species is coincidental.
These Terms of Use may be updated without notice in the future to account for a larger variety of legitimate usage cases, specify further on unauthorized actions, or amend existing terms. Acceptance of updated terms in the future is inferred by continued use of the product.
